Set in the sleep backwater town of Minnamurra in Australia, troubled, self harming teenager Joani is expelled from school, so her father sends her to stay with her eccentric grandmother in the sleepy Australian village of Minnamurra. The situation becomes more complex however, when Joani’s grandfather appears to be undead. Love, death and teenage angst, a wholly dysfunctional family stumbles back towards each other.
